Exterior Products Definitions Caulk Seals cracks, wood splits, knot holes, etc. Jomax Detergent for removing mold, mildew and surface dirt to provide a clean surface prior to painting. Oxide primer Seals bare metal or rust deposits on surface to prevent corrosion. Oil-Base Primer Seals bare wood or newly replaced wood. Latex Enamels Paint for siding, fascia, soffit and trim. Oil-Base Paints Best used for industrial applications or high traffic areas. Interior Products Definitions Caulk Seals cracks, baseboards, crown molding, doorjambs, window trim, etc. Primer Brush/roll or spray to seal stains such as grease, oil, mold and raw wood. Wall Paints Latex Flat, Eggshell, Semi-Gloss and High-Gloss 1.Flat Not as washable but easiest to touch up. 2.Eggshell and Satin Somewhat washable, very low sheen. 3. Semi-Gloss More washable than Eggshell, Satin or Flat. Has a glossy appearance. 4.High-Gloss Very washable, shiny appearance but not available in all colors. Only recommended for smooth surfaces.
